Fuel Depot – each storage tank is 20,000 liters. Was ordered and installed at a cost of $181,000. These are all jet fuel tanks as the generators run on jet fuel. The tanks are filled via an underground pipe that goes out to the wharf allowing easy access for the fuel supply boat. The electrical main supply cables and fuel pipe work are laid in trenches. The three generator sets, air discharge fan and main switchboard are all on site.
